Mick Foley

Michael Francis Foley dit Mick Foley, est né le 7 juin 1965 à Bloomington, Indiana, USA. Il a interprété trois personnages récurrents : Cactus Jack, Mankind et Dude Love.

Il s'est rendu célèbre pour sa capacité impressionnante à supporter la douleur (il a connu de multiples blessures et fractures, notamment deux fractures du nez, une à la mâchoire et à la pommette, une autre à l'épaule et au poignet, sans compter cinq cotes cassées et pas moins de 325 points de suture !), ce qui lui a permis de participer aux matchs les plus violents et sanglants du monde du catch.

Tout ceci lui a valu le surnom de "Hardcore Legend". Il est est aussi reconnu pour n'avoir fait que très peu de matches simples. En effet, il excellait dans les Street Fight, Barbed-Wire Match (notamment au Japon), les Falls Count Anywhere, ainsi que les terribles Hell in a Cell.

Sa carrière s'échelonne de 1986 à 2008 entre la WWE et la WCW. Il est également un écrivain reconnu : une autobiographie (Have a Nice Day!: A Tale of Blood and Sweatsocks), un ouvrage sur le catch (Foley is Good and the Real World is Faker than Pro-Wrestling) ainsi que trois livres d'histoire pour enfants et deux romans pour adolescents.
