D'après Fox Sports, Jim Ross a signé pour commenter des matchs de la New Japan Pro Wrestling pour AXS TV. Jim Ross commentera aux côtés de Josh Barnett dès le 4 mars.

Pour ses débuts, Jim Ross commentera l'événement Wrestling Dontaku 2015.

Il a également été rapporté que Jim Ross commentera depuis Los Angeles.
