For four years, documentarians Evan Husney and Jason Eisener have been delivering top-notch storytelling about some of wrestling’s seediest superstars and nefarious moments. As they prepare for their fifth season, they’re taking a look at the stories that may be too dark for even the dark side. Here are some of the dark tales that might have been too much even for the dark side of wrestling.

“The First Female Referee” – Rita Chatterton
Rita Chatterton’s story is one that has been largely overlooked in the wrestling world. As the first ever female referee, her career in WWE was overshadowed by the serious allegations she made against former Chairman Vince McMahon. Her story, while important, remains one of the darkest in wrestling history.

“The Ninth Wonder Of The World” – Chyna
