Serena Deeb, de All Elite Wrestling, a battu Thunder Rosa lors du pay-per-view UWN Prime Time Live de mardi soir pour remporter le titre mondial féminin NWA pour la première fois.
Deeb est revenu à la lutte professionnelle en 2017 après une longue interruption, en participant au tournoi Mae Young Classic. Elle a ensuite rejoint la WWE en tant qu’entraîneur au Performance Center, mais a été licenciée plus tôt cette année lors des compressions controversées de COVID-19 de la société.
Lors de l’édition du 2 septembre d’AEW Dynamite, elle a perdu ses débuts dans un match qui a été très apprécié, car Deeb a été amené à s’assurer que Thunder Rosa avait l’air bien avant un match Champion contre Champion avec Hikaru Shida à AEW All Out.
La National Wrestling Alliance a organisé plusieurs défenses de titre lors de la série hebdomadaire de télévision à la carte du United Wrestling Network, dirigée par David Marquez. Les épisodes individuels et les lots de quatre épisodes sont disponible via FITE TV. L’émission de cette semaine a également présenté un match entre Chris Dickinson et Peter Avalon.
