Introduction :

Welcome to the No Way Out 2006 Review. Get ready for a trip down memory lane as we revisit this epic WWE pay-per-view event from 2006!

The Opening:

For the first time in a long time, we have a pay per view that has my interest. Smackdown has gotten a lot better in a hurry, but they need the big spectacular to make it work. With Wrestlemania coming up, this could be a great way to get the momentum going, and hopefully that’s what happens here.

The Cruiserweight Title Match:

Gregory Helms, Brian Kendrick, Funaki, Kid Kash, Nunzio, Paul London, Psicosis, Scotty 2 Hotty, Super Crazy battle it out in a high-flying match. The champ bails to the floor to start and everyone else brawls inside. Helms is defending and it’s one fall to a finish with no tags.

Booker T. vs. Chris Benoit

Booker T literally gets on his knees to beg Teddy Long to let him out of the match with Chris Benoit. Long’s offer: have the match or forfeit the title.

JBL vs. Bobby Lashley

The two engage in a fierce battle that results in Finlay getting involved and costing Lashley the match. This sets up a new feud between Finlay and Lashley, adding more excitement to Smackdown’s midcard.

Surprise Appearance by Batista

Batista surprises everyone with his appearance and gives a heartfelt speech about his love for wrestling and his desire to come back for the World Title.

MNM vs. Matt Hardy/???

Non-title and the mystery partner is…..Tatanka, in one of the best “HUH?” moments of the era.

Randy Orton vs. Kurt Angle for Wrestlemania

Randy Orton confronts Kurt Angle in the back because he didn’t like Angle saying he’d love to face Rey at Wrestlemania. Angle is focused on Undertaker though.

Conclusion

With an exciting mix of high-flying action and intense drama, No Way Out 2006 was a truly memorable event that set the stage for an epic Wrestlemania. It’s a must-see for any wrestling fan!
