La nuit dernière aux studios Universal d'Orlando, la TNA diffusait en direct le pay-per-view Slammiversary.
Dans le main-event, le cofondateur de la TNA Jeff Jarrett a remporté le King of the Mountain Match, match qui impliquait également Bobby Roode, Drew Galloway, Matt Hardy et Eric Young. Il devient le premier champion King of the Moutain de l'histoire de la promotion.
