L'ancien champion Light Heavyweight de la WWE, deux fois ancien champion X-Division de la TNA, ancien champion poids lourd de la ROH et de l'ECW, Jerry Lynn, 48 ans, a annoncé qu'il prendra sa retraite à la fin d'année 2012.

L'un des faits les plus marquants de la carrière de Lynn est sa rivalité avec Rob Van Dam à l'ECW, qui l'a mené à remporter l'ECW Championship.
