La WWE a annoncé sur son site le nom du sixième participant au match de l'échelle pour le titre intercontinental qui aura lieu à Wrestlemania 31.
C'est Stardust qui a été annoncé, Stardust qui rejoint ainsi dans ce match le champion Bad News Barrett, Dean Ambrose, Luke Harper, Dolph Ziggler et R-Truth.
