Dans un article sur son site wwe.com, la WWE a annoncé que Tom Phillips intègre la table des commentateurs de Smackdown.

Tom Phillips a ainsi fait ses débuts dans le show bleu ce vendredi à Phoenix dans l'Arizona aux côtés de Michael Cole et de John Bradshaw Layfield. En réaction à cette première, il a fait part d'un grand moment très excitant pour lui. Phillips commente régulièrement Main Event, Superstars et NXT également.
